SAP PLM
The term SAP PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) refers to the lifecycle chain of a product. This includes the recording of the product concept, development, production, introduction and sale on the supplier market, service management for the product and return or recycling.
SAP PLM meets these requirements. It offers an integrated solution with which all data of the product life cycle can be efficiently controlled and managed. All parties involved are included - product development, manufacturing and service benefit from a single point of truth where all product-relevant information is centrally stored. Increased process flexibility enables a company to react faster to changing markets, to better implement innovative ideas and to be prepared for the future of Industry 4.0.
SAP PLM helps to apply or implement this concept of life in the company in various areas, which must be lived in the company. This is because the system module is not a data collection system, but controls the company's actions with regard to this product in various departments. These often include many, if not all, departments of a company. These are, for example, development, marketing, production, sales and service. If recycling is outsourced, cooperation partners must be found, which must also be mapped.
